John G. Growney
President, CIC, LIC John is both a Licensed Insurance Counselor (LIC) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC). During his 25 year career, John has performed every organizational function from administrative tasks, to customer service and sales/agency management. John earned his B.A. majoring in Business from Michigan State University. He resides in Clarkston, MI with his two children and two rescue dogs.
Barry L. Hunt
Vice President Barry has been licensed since 1986. He began his career in insurance after leaving a management position in retail. He has spent all of his 25+ years in the industry on the agency side. He has performed customer service, sales and management. Barry earned his B.A. majoring in Communication from the University of Michigan in 1984.
Unlike a captive, or direct insurance company who only offers their own proprietary products, our agency is 100% independent of any one company. Many insurance consumers don’t fully understand just how important that really is. When it comes to something as important as insurance, it’s imperative that you work with an agency who has an in-depth knowledge of multiple insurance products, companies, and guidelines — not just one.
At the end of the day, what separates one agent from another, is their ability to proactively service their policy holders, and their knowledge of the insurance industry, products, and different situations that may present themselves to their clients.
